Yamaha has taken the YXZ1000R SS SE paddle shift to the next level with  enhancements that improve performance and reliability.

Larger terrain ripping tyres and a rear mounted radiator means  you can go harder for longer. The SS SE model comes with all  the features and benefits of the standard YXZ but adds an improved roll cage design, beadlock rims,  and more accessory integration.  Plus it’s now turbo ready, fitted with race performance conrods.

Huge piggyback twin-wall industry exclusive FOX® 2.5 Podium X2 Shocks bring a whole new level of adjustability by giving you high- and low-speed compression damping adjustments, as well as high- and low-speed rebound, all conveniently mounted to the top of the shock body. All shocks also feature dual springs with crossover adjustment—providing 411.5mm front and 432mm rear travel.

Supersport-Style Dashboard

The YXZ1000R SS SE features instruments inspired by Yamaha’s high-performance supersport motorcycles. Functions include a digital speedometer, analogue tachometer and programmable shift light, with readouts for 4WD mode, gear position, fuel level, trip meters, hour meter, coolant temperature warning and a clock. The new Sport Shift system also indicates when the YCC-S is actuating the clutch or Launch System for additional control and driver feedback.

The YXZ1000R SS SE cab features plush, high-back seats with extra lateral support and outside shoulder bolsters, and the cockpit is built to provide a balance of driving confidence with comfort. Shaped floorboards provide generous legroom while still giving a planted feel during aggressive driving, and both the driver’s seat and steering wheel are adjustable to ensure a perfect fit.

Cargo area has been redesigned as result of the relocation of the radiator, also front hood styling is improved with room to install optional night riding LED lights. The roll cage has a straight top bar, it doesn't only look sleeker but also improves forward visibility when climbing.  The extra rear cross bar adds to the overall structural strength.
